BOARDMAN -- Married at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at St. Charles Church were Kathleen Janik, daughter of Dolores Janik, 7366 Salinas Trail, and the late James Janik, and Christopher Ignazio, son of Joseph and Diane Ignazio, 599 Presidential Drive.
The Rev. Daniel Venglarik solemnized the ceremony, and the couple were honored at a reception at The Georgetown.
They honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and are living at 27652 D. Westchester Parkway, Westlake.
The bride wore a two-piece strapless corset-style ensemble. The bodice was fashioned of brocade satin adorned with crystals and pearls. The A-line skirt fell to a chapel train.
Her sister, Mary Hetson, and Shawna Gilligan were honor attendants. They wore navy blue gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Kimberly Janik, the bride's sister-in-law; Laura Murray; Claire Daviduk; Kelly Cicchillo; and Amy Chiaberta.
The duties of best man were shared by Joseph and Bryan Ignazio, the groom's brothers. Groomsmen were Anthony Magnetta; Derek Longmuir; James Janik, the bride's brother; Michael Blasco; and Guy Mancini. Michael Janik, her nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Ignazio graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a business analyst with Key Corp.,Cleveland.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in marketing management from YSU and is an account executive with Allegiance Telecom in Independence.
