LOWELLVILLE -- The wedding of Carolyn A. Pugh and Mark A. Brammer Jr. took place at 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated for the daughter of Jim and Margie Pugh, 430 Wilson Lane, and the son of Mark and Kathy Brammer, 107 Renee Drive, Struthers.
A reception was held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.
They will live in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The bride's satin gown was designed with box pleats and cap sleeves, and was embellished with pearls and floral embroidery.
Maid of honor was Joni DePiore, and matron of honor was Rhonda Hirschl-Mike. They wore ivory gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Julie Angelot, Shelley Cutrone, Erica Hirschl, Rhea Nicklow and Jessica Eaton. Flower girl was Kayla Theisler.
Bill Brammer performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Mike Brent; Mario Mendozzi; Jimmy Pugh, the bride's brother; Nino Rubino; Frank Scott, and Dan Brammer, the groom's brother.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry, the bride is a medicinal research chemist with Pharmacia in Kalamazoo.
Her husband graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from YSU. Prior to his marriage, he was a physical therapist at Silverio Physical Therapy in Salem.
