Authorities continue search for man who escaped Tuesday

The escapee's family and friends live near Youngstown.
ELKTON -- U.S. marshals searching for Terrell Martin think he is still in the area.
Martin, 21, a native of Youngstown, walked away from an outside landscaping detail Tuesday afternoon and left the Federal Correctional Institution at Elkton.
Dan O'Donnel of the U.S. Marshals Service, Akron, said all Martin's family and friends have Youngstown-area addresses.
Prison officials said Martin is serving a six-year, two-month sentence for possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams (1.75 ounces) of crack cocaine. He began serving his sentence at the Elkton facility June 14 and was scheduled to be released May 23, 2006, officials said.
Martin is black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both forearms, O'Donnel said.

Other escapees: Authorities continue to search for Rafael Herrera, 53, and Juan Gonzales-Valencia, 30, who escaped from the minimum security facility July 21 by climbing over the fence. Prison officials said the men made a ladder out of a hospital gurney.
Three inmates walked away from FCI Elkton's minimum-security camp shortly after its 1997 opening but were returned to custody.
In 1999, two other inmates took off. One was caught hiding in his wife's car in the prison parking lot; another was caught based on a tip from a local resident.
In 2000, two more inmates also left the minimum-security camp without authorization and remain at large.
Those who leave without authorization face disciplinary action within the prison system and a possible criminal charge of escape.
