Cupples-Barnett wedding plans are announced

YOUNGSTOWN -- Tom and Mary Cupples, 2318 Oak Trace Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Cara A. Cupples of the same address, and Daniel J. Barnett, 4902 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
Parents of the prospective groom are John and Annette Barnett, 425 N. Glenellen Ave.
Miss Cupples, a respiratory therapist at St. Elizabeth Health Center, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in respiratory care.
Mr. Barnett earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications at YSU and a master's degree in college-student personnel at Bowling Green State University. He is coordinator of student activities at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
The couple have chosen St. Columba Cathedral for their open wedding at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and St. Mary Assumption Social Center for their evening reception to be held by invitation.
