Crestview upsets Boardman boys, 2-1



BOARDMAN -- Ken Wagenhouse broke a 1-1 second half tie with his second goal of the game to give Crestview High an 2-1 upset victory over Boardman in a boys soccer match Tuesday.
Mike Herstine and Jonathan Kindead each had an assist for the Rebels (7-5-2). Chad Vollnogle had 14 saves.
Jordan Winters scored the Spartan's (13-2) only goal on an assist from Jeremy Winters.
Fitch 4, Niles 1: AUSTINTOWN -- Chris Frazzini had two goals and an assist and Sammy Camens had a goal an assist to lead Fitch.
Anthony Colaluca scored a goal and Alex Castillo and Gus Martinez each added assists for the Falcons (10-5-1). Brett Gleydura had seven saves.
Brad McFadden had a goal and Bret Gatta had 16 saves for Niles.
Canfield 3, Lakeview 0: CANFIELD -- Mark Pakula, Julian Donofrio and Matt Pietro each scored a goal for the Cardinals (8-4-3), who won the Youngstown District Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Division I championship with their win over Lakeview.
Ryan Buck, Zach Bezyak and Pakula had an assist apiece. Goalkeeper Mark Kime had 3 saves. Canfield had 31 shots on goal, compared to seven for Lakeview.
The Bulldogs' (5-5-4) keeper Ben Bell had 15 saves.
