Housemate of slain man surrenders in unrelated case

FARRELL, Pa. -- Police said the housemate of a Fruit Avenue man shot and killed in front of their residence surrendered voluntarily to police after learning he was wanted on a warrant on charges unrelated to the slaying.
Cleston C. "Terry" Forrester, 26, walked into the Sharon police station around 4 p.m. Saturday.
He had been sought on a warrant charging him with receiving stolen property, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Was interviewed: Police said that they had talked to him the night that his housemate, Rasceo A. "Angel" Riley, 30, was slain but that Forrester disappeared shortly after a stolen car and some marijuana were found on the property.
Police said they wanted him on the receiving stolen property and drug charges but also wanted to interview him further about Riley's slaying. Sharon police turned Forrester over to Southwest Mercer County Regional Police, who had secured the arrest warrant, and Forrester was interviewed again regarding the murder and released.
Police said he wasn't arraigned on the other charges but was advised to report to the office of District Justice Henry Russo today for arraignment.
