West Middlesex runs over Saegertown with 40-6 win



WEST MIDDLESEX -- Dan Mihalcek rushed for 130 yards on 11 carries and scored on runs of 3, 8 and 25 yards, helping West Middlesex High to a 40-6 victory over Saegertown Saturday.
Quarterback Jake Buzard of the Big Red (5-1) completed 19-of-23 passes for 247 yards, which included touchdown passes to Jeremy Baker for 8 yards and to Rob Long for 7 yards.
Long caught eight passes for 121 yards and Baker caught eight for 96.
Saegertown (2-4) was limited to 5 yards rushing and 75 passing. One pass play covered 70 yards on a fake punt.
St. Thomas Aquinas 38, Kennedy Catholic 13: CANTON -- The Knights (6-1) ran 43 times for 224 yards and four touchdowns, paced by Rocco Maragas who had eight carries and 66 yards.
The Eagles (0-6) were paced by George Revere who had 12 carries for 64 yards and touchdowns of 33 and 1 yards.
