CAMPBELL -- Stacey Marie Savich and George Michael Semer, both of 4071 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Lucy Church.
Monsignor John Ashton presided at the ceremony, and a reception was held in honor of the couple at St. Michael Byzantine Church Hall. Upon return from a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple will live at the Glenwood Avenue address.
Parents of the bride are Janis Savich, 30-2 Stratford Green Drive, Canfield, and Gary Savich, 5340 Glenn Valley Drive, Battlecreek, Mich. The groom is a son of Carolyne Semer, 559 Moor Drive, and the late George Semer.
The bodice of the bride's sleeveless organza over satin gown was re-embroidered with pearls and beads.
Wearing aubergine gowns were Marie Dorazio, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kathleen Becker, Connie Fox, Laura Kielar, and the bride's sister-in-law, Amy Savich. Flower girl was her niece, Isabelle Savich.
Best man was Lewis Jackson, and groomsmen were Charles Xenakis, Robert Chambers, Steve Pecchia, and the bride's brother, Steve Savich. Ringbearers were the bride's nephew, Noah Savich, and a nephew of the groom, Andrew Mitcham.
The bride, a speech therapist at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, graduated from Kent State University with a master's degree in speech pathology
The groom holds a master's degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and is a case manager at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
