BOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting for the Sept. 8 wedding of Nicole Kristin Petrarca and Joseph John Varone, both of Canfield. The Rev. Robert Quaintance officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Chuck and Annette Petrarca of Canfield and the son of Linda and Michael Renzenbrink of Varona, Pa., and Joseph and Anna Varone of Austintown.
The newlyweds were honored during a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre then left for a honeymoon to Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
The bride wore a sleeveless A-line gown styled with a V-neckline and detachable chapel-length train. Seed pearls and bugle beads accented her dress. She wore a waist-length veil.
Mrs. Varone works in customer service at Pat Catan's.
The groom is a deputy sheriff for Mahoning County.
Honor attendants were Stephanie Petrarca, the bride's sister, and Donna Atwood. Bridesmaids were Megan Holecko, the bride's cousin; Leanne Doxsee, the groom's cousin; and Lorrie Rishel. They wore burgundy dresses. Flower girl was Jackie Doxsee, the groom's cousin.
James Varone served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Varone, the groom's brother; Shon Kessler, the groom's cousin; Jaron Haynam; and Ryan Pennell. Ring bearer was Matthew Elander, the bride's cousin.
The newlyweds live in Canfield.
