LIVONIA, Mich. -- Kristen Simone Tuer and Brian James Eichert, both of 3421-1 N. Wexford Drive, Saginaw, Mich., exchanged nuptial vows at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 as they were united in marriage at St. Aidan's Church.
The Rev. John Kasza presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Robert and Annette Tuer, 16800 Hubbard, and the son of Nancy Flanagan, 404 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, and the late John Eichert.
After a reception at St. Aidan Activity Center, the couple left on a wedding trip to the Poconos. They will live in Saginaw.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by Colleen and Andrea Tuer of Livonia, the bride's sisters and honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Cynthia Dirkse of Davison, Mich., and Melissa Fuerst of Saginaw. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Lauren English of Port Sanilac, Mich.
Erik Eichert of Canfield and Marc Eichert of Hubbard were best men for their brother, and groomsmen were Joe Schaffer of Canfield, and the bride's brother, David Tuer of Livonia. The groom's nephew, Jerad Eichert of Hubbard, was ring bearer.
The bride and groom graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. She holds a degree in business and is the business office manager with Heartland Health Care Center in Bridgeport, Mich.
The groom earned a degree in criminal justice and is a case manager with Genesee County Youth Corp. in Flint, Mich.
