Kidney Foundation plans event

BOARDMAN -- The 14th annual Festa Della Pasta will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Antone's Banquet Centre to benefit the Eastern Regional Kidney Foundation.
The event will begin with a wine taste followed by a variety of Italian delicacies. At 7:30 p.m. the foundation will hold a Chinese auction along with live musical entertainment.
Tickets are $40 each and may be purchased from foundation board members or by calling the office at (330) 707-1910.
Proceeds will be used to assist area kidney patients with transportation and prescription-drug costs associated with their illness.
