BOARDMAN -- Married at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at Boardman Christian Church were Christine Danks and Robert Bloom Sr. Parents of the bride are Paul and Susan Danks, 6609 Country Ridge Drive, Austintown. Mr. Bloom is a son of Evelyn and Raymond Moore, 275 Poland Ave., Struthers, and Robert and Linda Bloom, 125 S. Aldrich Road, Austintown.
The Rev. Jim Schimmel officiated at St. Mary Assumption Social Hall, and the couple are honeymooning in the Bahamas. They will live at 4813 Westchester Blvd., Austintown.
The bride's long-sleeved A-line gown was designed with a sweetheart neckline and empire waist. The bodice, hemline and detachable cathedral train were adorned with lace, pearls and sequins.
Her sister, Amanda Danks, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Marjorie Bloom, the groom's sister; Kathy Swetko; Jean Masko; Linda Jones, the groom's cousin; and Lara Foley. They wore champagne and burgundy gowns. Junior bridesmaid was Alyssa Jones, the groom's cousin.
Daniel Bullen, the groom's cousin, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Colin and Bryan Danks, the bride's brothers; Daniel Magliocca; Robert Jones, the groom's cousin; and Dominic Bloom, his brother. Robert Bloom Jr., the groom's son, was junior groomsman, and ring bearer was Jake Bullen, the groom's cousin.
Mrs. Bloom is employed at Gorant Candies in Boardman.
The groom is a truck driver with P.A.M. Dedicated Services Inc. in Warren.
