Scouting report: Mount Union's (4-0, 3-0 OAC) Chuck Moore and Dan Pugh each rushed for over 100 yards in 31-3 win over Ohio Northern. Marietta (2-2, 1-2) QB Shawn Taylor broke the school's single-game passing record with 347 yards (27 of 42, 2 TDs) in 31-28 win over Muskingum. Seven passes, for 140 yards, and 1 TD went to WR Brian Haines. Nathen Sellers rushed for 120 yards and 1 TD. Sophomore LB Jason Shaw had eight tackles.

Scouting report: Allegheny (1-3, 1-1) led Wittenberg 17-7 with just over eight minutes to play, but lost in the final 16 seconds, 21-17. RB Shane Ream has 429 yards and 4 TDs, averaging 6.3 yards per attempt. QB Bubba Smith is 46-for-89 for 576 yards and 5 TDs; Jon Turner had 17 catches for 208 yards and 1 TD. Hiram (2-1, 0-1) lost to Earlham 27-10 last week. QB Dwayne Pavkovich (Poland) has completed 39-of-80 passes for 437 yards and 5 TDs. RB Kris Giebel has 247 yards.
WESTMINSTER vs. BETHANY

Scouting report: Titans (1-3) have two-game losing streak, but have not lost to Bethany since 1940, a span of 22 games. TB Scott Froelich became first true freshman since Denny Flora (1995) to rush for 100 yards when he gained 106 in 28-7 loss to Washington & amp; Jefferson. WR Brian Lipiello had 107 yards and 1 TD on six catches. Bethany's (4-0, 1-0 PAC) Will Anderson rushed for 124 yards and had a school-record 92 yard TD run in 34-7 win over Waynesburg last week.

Scouting report: The Pioneers (1-3, 0-1) lost to Walsh 50-9 in the MSFA Mideast opener. RB Joel Peterson has 460 yards this season, and QB Eric Rector has thrown for 506 yards and 4 TDs. WR Jason Cunningham has a team-high 13 receptions. Defensively, LB Tyran Holloway has a team-high 51 tackles and LB Jason Kennedy has 24 tackles, 3 sacks and one interception. Geneva (2-3, 0-1) lost to St. Francis (Ind.) 30-6 last week. In their two victories, the Golden Tornadoes have out-scored their opponents 116-28. QB Ben Swallow (West Branch) is 84-of-135 for 1,187 yards and 8 TDs, with 6 interceptions. WR Mark Thomas leads with 31 catches for 419 yards and 6 TDs, and Aaron Price has 25 catches for 435 yards. LB Mike Broadnax has 44 tackles (12 for loss) and LB Josh Anthony has 43 tackles.

Scouting report: Senior QB T.J. Wiley was named PAC offensive player of the week (15-of-24, 251 yards, 3 TDs) following Thiel's 40-27 win over Grove City. Thiel (1-3, 1-0) LB Rennie Gash played both ways in the game, rushing for 15 yards and two TDs while recording 10 tackles and returning an interception for a third score. Waynesburg (1-3, 0-1) lost to Bethany 34-7.

Scouting report: Grove City (1-3, 0-1) led 20-7 lead vs. Thiel slip away. TB Mike Orlando posted his second straight 100-yard game (22-136) an scored three TDs. Steve Roberts added 73 yards on 11 rushes. Brian Dawson passed for three TDs and Joey Nichols rushed for 167 yards and one score in W & amp;J's 28-7 win over Westminster. Todd Fry has four straight 100-yard receiving games for W & amp;J (4-0, 0-0).

SLIPPERY ROCK vs. SHIPPENSBURG

Scouting report: Slippery Rock (2-2, 0-2 PSAC West) has not been 0-2 in conference play since 1985. After scoring 85 points in its first two games, The Rock has been held to 14 in its last two; latest was 23-7 loss to IUP. Senior WR/RS D.J. Flick had 125 all-purpose yards vs. IUP to become The Rock's all-time leader. Flick has 4,198 all-purpose yards, surpassing previous leader Stan Kennedy, who had 4,163. Shippensburg (3-2, 2-0) is led by HB Dave Brown, who rushed for 62 yards and a TD in 31-10 win over Lock Haven, and QB Jim Buffington, who was 9-of-15 for 160 yards.

Scouting report: Walsh (3-2, 1-0) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 50-9 rout of Malone last week. S Kevin Vaughnwas named MSFA Mideast defensive player of the week with 11 tackles and two sacks. The offense was sparked by the running of Raphael Worthy (119 yards, 2 TDs) and Andy Ayoup (113 yards, 1 TD). Jeff Johnston hit two of three field goal attempts, one a school-record 53-yards. Tri-State (3-1, 0-0) defeated St. Joseph's 42-0. Tri-State held St. Joseph's to just 88 yards.
