CELEBRATION Yo-Mah-O Chapter marks anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals celebrated its 55th anniversary Sept. 18 at the Youngstown Club. Joan Battagline presided and conducted a ceremony honoring the following past presidents who were in attendance: Marilyn Carroll, Roseann DeSimone Cullen, Judy Cundik, Peg Davis, Dorothy Evers, Joan Giba, Mary Misley Hake, Pauline Hruby, Barbara Kramer, Joyce Laska, Ruth Milligan, Miriam Nogal, Patricia Roberts, Lynn Romeo, Patricia Vallas and Margaret Wood.
Sandy Furano and Kathy Schlarb of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center presented a program on Microsoft Office User Specialist and requirements for certification in it.
The next meeting will be a buffet dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Catering in Canfield. Cynthia Moran of St. Joseph Health Center in Warren will present "Donation of Organs." Members are asked to take articles to this meeting for either of the two Christmas baskets to be raffled at the November meeting. Committee assistants will be Marleen Kana, Sherri Reves, Mrs. Hruby and Mrs. Kramer.
