Weight control, smoking clinics scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN -- You can sideline your nicotine addiction, or those extra pounds by attending the American Lung Association's hypnosis clinics Oct. 7.
Don Mannarino, clinical hypnotist, will conduct clinics at the Jewish Community Center on Gypsy Lane. The weight control clinic will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the smoking cessation program at 1:45 p.m.
Cost of each session is $50, and includes the group hypnosis session, audio cassette, and a year of free reinforcement. By showing the original receipt, and photo ID, participants may attend any American Lung Association hypnosis program in Ohio for reinforcement.
A minimum of 15 new participants is required for the clinics to be held. Advance registration is required. Walk-ins will be accepted if space permits. Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the session.
