Zenn anniversary is celebrated at The Elm Tree

POLAND -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Zenn, 7536 Elmland Drive, was celebrated during a party held Nov. 18 at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
Invitations for the observance were extended by their children, Linda Peterson of Portland, Texas; Margie Lewis of Aurora; Diane Johnson of Poland; and Michael Zenn of New Middletown. There are six grandchildren in the family.
The couple, who were united in marriage Oct. 27, 1951, at St. John Church in Canton, are members of St. Maron Church in Youngstown, the Over-50 Club at the church and Steel Valley Prisoner of War Chapter.
Mrs. Zenn, the former Elaine Tomey, retired in 1951 from Timken Roller Bearing in Canton, where she was an office machine operator.
Mr. Zenn served with the U.S. Army 106th Infantry and was a prisoner of war after being captured during the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed at Fred Martin Ford in Youngstown as an automobile salesman and retired in 1985.
