Homes will be open to holiday visitors
Local and national charities will receive the proceeds from the fund-raiser.
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Five homes in the New Castle area will be decorated in various theme by local designers and open to visitors during the 13th annual Holiday Tour of Homes to be presented by New Castle Junior Woman's Club.
The tour is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9. The starting point will be the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts, 124 E. Leasure Ave., and will include the following private homes:
UThe 1927 Georgian-style home of Ron and Renee Phillips, 209 E. Winter Ave.
UKevin and Mary Lee Green's 1922 Sheridan House at 409 E. Sheridan Ave.
UA Dutch colonial-style home owned by Matthew and Carrollyn Foster, 117 E. Fairfield Ave.
UThe turn-of-the-century home of Richard and Leanne Foster, 315 E. Hazelcroft Ave.
UThe 1920s Colonial Revival home of Larry and Desi Scalfari, 304 E. Clenmoore Ave.
The tour is the club's major fund-raiser for local and national charities. This year the recipients will include Lawrence County Cares, American Red Cross, Promises for Pets and Anxiety and Panic Disorders.
