Local committee seeks advocate to aid families
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County Family and Children First Executive Committee seeks an advocate to represent the interests of families being served by social service agencies, both governmental and private.
The committee has 23 members, of whom three represent families.

Council of Governments announces relocation
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments is relocating from its longtime location in the Ohio One Building downtown to offices in the Austin Square Building at state Route 11 and Mahoning Avenue in Austintown. The move will be effective Dec. 10.
Executive Director John R. Getchey said the new location will be more accessible because it's more centrally located and has adequate parking for visitors.
