WARREN -- A honeymoon in Aruba followed Nov. 10 wedding of Happy Melissa Wern, 717 Christian St., Philadelphia, and Giovanni DiCenso of Arlington, Va., that took place at Blessed Sacrament Church.
The Rev. Donald King officiated for the daughter of Evelyn Urban-Wern, 3210 Halsey Drive N.E., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wern, 957 Fairway Drive, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benito DiCenso, 1397 Akins Road, Broadview Heights. A reception was held afterward at Trumbull Country Club.
The bride's white silk strapless ballgown featured a chapel train.
Caramel-colored gowns were worn by Natalie Hoss and Bridgett Urban, honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Regina Rebhan, Paula Orie, Lana Eaton, Chryse Zerwos, Michelle Perez, Loretta Tiber, Rosanna Massitti, Melissa Wern and Ariel Urban.
Angelo DiCenso was best man, and groomsmen were Romeo DiCenso, Theodore Wern, Michael Denno, Brett Salzgeber, Edwardo Bocock, Gregory Hoss, Stephen Tiber, John Massitti, Charles Wern and Aaron Urban.
Also participating were Gerald Dietl, Joseph DiCenzo, William Urban, and Anthony and Joseph Centofante.
The bride, an attorney with the Philadelphia Defender's Office, graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee and Ohio Northern Law School in Lima. The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame University, Ohio Northern Law School and Georgetown University. He is an international tax manager with Deloitte and Touche, LLB, in Washington. They live in Arlington, Va.
