CARRIE FRENCHBRIAN SARKIS
YOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held at the Maronite Center in honor of Brian Sarkis and his bride, the former Carrie French, following their wedding Nov. 3 at St. Columba Cathedral.
The couple exchanged vows during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Lawrence Fye.
Mr. and Mrs. John French, 7511 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, are parents of the bride, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Simon Sarkis, 7060 Lockwood Blvd., Canfield.
The couple live in Columbus.
Pearls enhanced the bride's silk A-frame princess-cut gown, and the skirt swept into a cathedral train.
Gowned in silver were Jill Ciccotelli, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Karen Sarkis, Jackie French, Jennifer Bundschu, Allison Spyker and Michelle Smollin, and the junior bridesmaid, Ashley French. Flower girl was Sara Rogers.
Serving as best man was Carmen DeLucia, and groomsmen were Michael French, John French, Curt Winkelvoss, Erik Brotherton and Chris Lawson. Ring bearers were Andrew Rogers and John Paul French.
The bride and groom graduated from Ohio State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in journalism and his in civil engineering. She is the executive assistant to the vice president at Express World Headquarters in Columbus, and he is a civil engineer with Opus North Corp., Columbus.
