New Ohio wildlife officer is named for Carroll County

Dan Shroyer has been named as the new state wildlife officer for Carroll County.
Shroyer had been serving in a similar function in Mercer County since 1998. He replaces long-time wildlife officer Steve Jurco, who recently retired.
A native of Cuyahoga Falls, Shroyer had also worked for the Division of Wildlife at the Deer Creek and Big Island wildlife areas. He is also close to completing requirements for a degree in wildlife management from Ohio State University.
Shroyer can be reached at his new office at (330) 644-3802, ext. 3205.
