Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Humes honored at 60th anniversary celebration

BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Humes of Boardman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 17 at a party at the Holiday Inn.
Arrangements for the festivity were made by the couple's children and their spouses, William and Jan Humes of Murrysville, Pa.; Paula Ciliberti of Murrysville; Peggy and Tom Blyskal of King of Prussia, Pa.; Chip Humes of Milwaukee; and Michael and Peggy Humes of Boardman.
Mr. Humes and the former Edna R. Mullen were married Nov. 20, 1941, at St. Edward Church in Youngstown. He served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army and retired in 1984 from The Vindicator, where he was controller. His wife is a homemaker.
The couple belong to St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. They have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
