BOARDMAN -- Melissa Rutana and Chuck Filek exchanged marriage vows Nov. 3 at Bethel Lutheran Church.
The Revs. Paul Burgeson and Brett Rizzo officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mike Rutana of New Springfield and Heidi Nemeth of New Middletown and the son of Brenda Filek of New Middletown.
A reception was held at The Embassy in Youngstown, and the couple spent their honeymoon on a cruise.
They are living in Boardman.
The bride's gown was designed with spaghetti straps and a full tulle skirt.
Apple-colored gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Erin Blakeman, Jenny DeCenso, Casey Fagnano, Tao Maldonado, the bride's cousin, and Stacie White. The groom's cousin, Angel Bussey, was flower girl.
Groomsmen were Pat Blakeman, Jess Humphries, Matt Kissel, Damon Raub and Doug Spencer. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Austin Bussey, and ushers were Jason Lewis, Bob Molnar and Tim Ohlin.
Mrs. Filek is a student at Youngstown State University and is employed as a secretary at North Coast Energy Inc. in Austintown.
Her husband is the service manager at Domestic Uniform in Youngstown.
