Junior Civic League to hold Cinderella Ball on Nov. 23

BOARDMAN -- The Junior Civic League will sponsor its 46th annual Cinderella Ball on Nov. 23 at Mr. Anthony's, 7440 South Ave. This year's theme is "An Evening of Elegance."
Ten debutantes will be presented during the event, one of whom will be crowned Miss Cinderella.
Voting: Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and voting will take place until 7:30. Presentation will begin at 7:30 and Miss Cinderella will be chosen by popular vote.
Tickets are $30 and are available from league members and debutantes. Tickets must be obtained by Wednesday. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Proceeds from the event, which is the league's only fund-raiser, will be used for scholarships for needy students.
Anne Cobbin and Elsina Winston are chairwomen. Betty Bogan is league president.
