Jacobsons are marking 50 years of marriage

YOUNGSTOWN -- LaRayne and Lucy Jacobson of Youngstown are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary during a reception today in the fellowship hall at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman, where they are members.
Hosts for the occasion are the couple's sons, Paul Jacobson of Tucson, Ariz.; Carl Jacobson of Salem; Daniel Jacobson of Hartville; and James Jacobson of Youngstown.
The couple were married Nov. 24, 1951, in Dixonville, Pa.
A homemaker, Mrs. Jacobson is a retired registered nurse.
Retiring in 1979 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Mr. Jacobson was a printer. He served in the U.S. Army with the 65th Medical Depot G during World War II.
The family circle includes four grandchildren.
