YOUNGSTOWN Board of control

The city's board of control approved these items Thursday:
Severance of $1,205 for Lloyd Cain, a police officer who resigned Oct. 9.
A $500 reward to three people who gave information that led to a conviction in an illegal trash dumping case.
A $200,000 contribution to the Mahoning County Lead-based Paint Hazard Control Program.
An agreement with the Ohio Rail Development Commission to close or improve several crossings.
An agreement to compensate Struthers for treating sewage from the city's Meadowbrook pump station, based on usage.
