Parents announce Fike and Petty engagement

NORTH JACKSON -- Melissa Marie Fike, 54 S. Salem-Warren Road, and Kevin Dale Petty, 2244 N. Sharon-Warren Road, are engaged.
The announcement is made by their parents, Kenneth and Janette Fike of the South Salem-Warren Road address, and Dale and Mary Petty of the North Salem-Warren Road, address.
Miss Fike attended Kent State University and graduated from Ford Beauty Academy in Boardman, and has a managing manicurist license. She is the assistant property manager at BrodMor Inc. in Boardman.
Mr. Petty is the assistant manager at Carter Lumber in Youngstown.
The couple will exchange marriage vows during an open ceremony planned for 2 p.m. July 27, 2002, at Canfield United Methodist Church. Invitations will be extended for the couple's evening reception at Roma Manor in Hubbard.
