YOUNGSTOWN -- Kathleen Corbett Kraynak, 6 Mill St., Pepperell, Mass., and Robert Joseph Kapala Jr., 196 Tyngsboro Road, Dracut, Mass., were married at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. The Revs. David Short and Michael Swierz and Monsignor Russell Duker presided.
Parents of the bride are Emil and Mary Jo Kraynak, 20 Corning Ave., and the groom is a son of the late Robert J. Kapala Sr. and Donna Kapala Arcand, and a stepson of Archie Arcand of the Dracut address.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
The bride wore a princess-style candlelight peau satin gown that featured a portrait neckline, pleated skirt and a chapel train.
Celadon green gowns were worn by Elizabeth Kraynak, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Tina Kierce, Lynda Schwan, Angela Kraynak, Keelee Wrenn, Sharon Tousignant, Michelle Battle and Anne Heutsche. Flower girl was Amanda Rondeau.
Best men were Joseph Dillon and Brian Kierce, and groomsmen were Michael Kraynak, Timothy Chandonnet, Thomas Kraynak, Brian Dillon, Jeffery Tousignant and Anthony Battle. Ring bearer was Ryan Kraynak.
A graduate of Youngstown State University and Boston College, the bride is a religion teacher at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass. The groom, a night auditor at Marriott Residence Inn in Andover, Mass., graduated from Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston and is attending Northern Essex College in Haverhill, Mass.
