YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Robert Siffrin officiated at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for the wedding of Gina M. Mascarella, daughter of Ronald and Donna Mascarella, 7530 Sugartree Drive, Boardman, and Timothy J. Falter, son of Joseph Falter, 5482 W. Webb Road, and the late Beverly Falter.
A reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride's gown featured a tip-of-the shoulder neckline and was fashioned of dulciana satin and French tulle. It was accented with beads, pearls and re-embroidered Alencon lace, and the skirt featured a cathedral train adorned with clusters of rosettes.
Her cousin, Diane Spalding, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Gayle Mascarella and Melissa Durse, her sisters-in-law; Bridget Mohr; Victoria Poplar; Heather Logan, her cousin; and Michelle Weida and Kristi Falter, the groom's cousins. They wore plum-colored gowns. Natalie Spalding, the bride's goddaughter, was flower girl.
Michael Cavalier was best man, and groomsmen were the bride's brothers, Ron and Dean Mascarella; the groom's cousins, Chad and Brad Weida and Matthew Falter; her nephew, Anthony Mascarella; and his uncle, Randy Falter. The bride's nephew, Dominic Mascarella, was ring bearer.
The couple are living in New York City, where the groom is a musical theater performer after attending Youngstown State University. A graduate of YSU, Mrs. Falter was a medical biller with Benchmark Medical Inc. and Envision in Austintown prior to her marriage.
