WARREN -- Allison Pogue of 1039 W. Pleasant St., Oak Park, Ill., became the bride of David Paul Casey of Longford, Ireland, during a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at First Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Dr. Michael Youngblood heard the exchange of vows between the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Pogue, 300 Spring Run, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Casey of Kilkenny, Ireland.
The couple received guests at the Trumbull Country Club and left for a honeymoon to Carmel, Calif. They live at the bride's address.
A senior environmental engineer at Masonite Division-International Paper, Chicago, the bride earned a degree in environmental engineering at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.
The groom has a degree in chemistry and industrial microbiology from the University College of Dublin. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Coventry University Business School, Coventry, United Kingdom.
A box-pleated skirt with a chapel-length train highlighted the bride's strapless silk satin ballgown styled with a fitted bodice and dropped waist.
Rachel Strate of Boston, honor attendant, wore a red dress, as did the bridesmaids, Alaina Sparks of Seattle, Meredith Halama of Washington and Shirley Casey of Kilkenny, the groom's sister.
Finbar Casey of Manly, Australia, served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Colman Casey of Dublin, the groom's brother; Jeffrey Pogue of Cincinnati, the bride's brother; and Michael Conlon of Riverstown, Ireland.
