NILES -- Watch Battery Express is a new drive-through business that offers battery installation, leather and stretch watch band replacement and watch band adjustment while customers wait.
Other services include fine jewelry cleaning and polishing, watch crystal polishing and watch repairs. It is located in the Niles Park Plaza on U.S. Route 422 and is owned by Darrell Hatton of McDonald, who has been a manager at area jewelry stores and has 22 years' experience in the jewelry and watch business.
Consumers Ohio to buildsystem for development
BOARDMAN -- Consumers Ohio Water Co. will operate a water system that serves a 118-home housing development in Richland County.
Under an agreement with the Muskingum Water Conservancy District, Consumers will build a $900,000 water system with waterlines and storage tanks. Construction is to begin this year and be completed by May. Boardman-based Consumers is a subsidiary of Philadelphia Suburban Corp.
