BOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 6 as Nicole Noelle Dowell, a daughter of Richard and Joyce Dowell, and Michael Robert Sahli, a son of Robert and Lynn Sahli, all of Youngstown, were united in marriage at Boardman United Methodist Church.
The Revs. Ash Welch and Matthew Mankowski presided, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Leo's Ristorant & eacute; in Howland.
After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian Island of Maui, they live at 385 N. Arrowhead Bay, Columbiana.
The bride's strapless white matte satin ballgown was enhanced with crystals and pearls and featured a cathedral train.
Gina Dowell, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore an amethyst-colored gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jackie Bell, Beth Biasella, Lisa Delluomo, Marcy Hughes and Amy Smith. Flower girls were Jessica, Natalie and Jordan DiTommaso.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Mark Sahli, and ushers were Richard Burnett; Michael Dowell, the bride's brother; Matthew Green; Stephen Smith; and Douglas Wolfe.
The bride, a third-grade teacher at Stadium Drive Elementary School in Boardman, graduated from Youngstown State University.
The groom, a graduate of Miami University, is an account executive with Cal-Ohio Lube Products Co. in North Lima.
