Kenney jubilee celebrated at family dinner



SALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Kenney, 7765 W. South Range Road, were honored by family members as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a private dinner party held Oct. 6 at Pine Lake Social Hall, North Lima.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Alan and Marilyn Wenger of North Lima; Paul Kenney of Youngstown; Mark and Lori Kenney and Terry and Tammy Kenney, all of Columbiana; Michael and Susan Kenney of Canfield; Kirk and Sheri Kenney of Boise, Idaho; Patrick and Michele Kenney of Rogers; and Jeff and Gail Davis of Greenwood, S.C. There are 23 grandchildren in the family.
The former Elaine Applegarth and Mr. Kenney were married Oct. 6, 1951, at St. Charles Church in Boardman. They are members of St. Paul Church, where their anniversary was acknowledged during the Oct. 7 Mass.
Mrs. Kenney is retired after 25 years as a bus driver with South Range Schools in North Lima.
Mr. Kenney was employed 33 years by Wean United in Youngstown and six years by Fab-Tech Industries in Coraopolis, Pa., where he retired from his position as supervisor.
