Eight people convicted so far since Youngstown's litter enforcement program started in April:
Name: Micky D. Sargent, Austintown.
Charge: Littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $250 fine plus $60 court costs, 180 days in jail suspended, 10 hours of community service, five years' nonreporting probation.
Name: Floyd Gettings, Youngstown.
Charge: Littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $250 fine plus $60 court costs, 16 hours of community service in recycling.
Name: Mark L. Wilson, Austintown.
Charge: Littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $350 fine plus $60 court costs, 180 days in jail suspended, one year's nonreporting probation.
Name: Terry A. Jones, Youngstown.
Charge: Littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $250 fine plus $60 court costs, 30 days in jail suspended, 40 hours of community service, two years' nonreporting probation.
Name: Donald B. Lanning Jr., Austintown.
Charge: Disorderly conduct, reduced from littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $100 fine plus $60 court costs, five days in jail suspended, 10 hours of community service, one year's nonreporting probation.
Name: Herman E. Garner, Youngstown.
Charge: Hauling more than 10 tires without a license, littering/deposit of garbage, driving under suspension.
Sentence: One year in jail, $310 fine plus $120 court costs suspended.
Name: John L. Lampkin Jr., Youngstown.
Charge: Littering/deposit of garbage.
Sentence: $350 fine plus $60 court costs, 180 days in jail suspended, one year's probation.
Name: Thomas M. Siegel, Edinburg, Pa.
Charge: No refuse hauler license.
Sentence: $350 fine plus $60 court costs, 60 days in jail suspended, one year's nonreporting probation.
