FINANCE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Butler, Wick & amp; Co. has added Robert Gardner, Jason Triveri and Robert Ferraro as financial advisers in the firm's Youngstown brokerage office in City Centre One. Gardner, a certified public accountant, earned his bachelor's degree in accountancy and taxation at the University of Houston. He has 14 years of finance-related experience, most recently with Commercial Intertech and Parker Hannifin. He lives in Youngstown.
Triveri has a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and is pursuing his master of business administration degree there. A licensed broker for the past two years, he lives in Boardman.
Ferraro has a bachelor's degree in business and management information systems from YSU and two years' investment experience. A Youngstown resident, he was a Youngstown firefighter and served in the U.S. Air Force before becoming a financial adviser.
BANKING
WARREN -- Second National Bank of Warren has named three new vice presidents: David Konik, David Potter and Esther DeTray.
Konik joined the bank last month as vice president and manager of personal trust. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is a certified public accountant. He had been vice president and trust officer for bank's private client group in Youngstown.
Potter, a former senior investment officer at a Slippery Rock, Pa. company, joined Second National last month as vice president, trust investments. He has a bachelor's degree in sociology and business from Westminster College.
DeTray joined the company in September as vice president and personal trust officer. She began her banking career in Akron in 1976 where she managed trust accounts for high net worth clients. She attended Bowling Green State University and the Ohio Bankers Association Trust School.
Second National also named Michael Holmes and Donna Reeder assistant vice presidents and named Gerri Steigerwald a trust officer in employee benefits.
Holmes has bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Kent State University and joined the bank in 1993. As assistant vice president, audit supervisor, he will be conducting independent audits.
Reeder attended Trumbull Business College and joined the bank in 1981. She is assistant vice president, collections manager in the bank's collections department.
Steigerwald had been benefits manager and pension coordinator for Austin Powder Co. in Cleveland. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Todd Hays has been named senior vice president, district retail leader, for the Akron, Canton and Youngstown markets of KeyBank. He will oversee sales and service management of 37 retail banking offices. Hays had been vice president and area sales leader with KeyBank in Columbus. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wittenberg University and is relocating to the area from Columbus.
REAL ESTATE
BOARDMAN -- Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate has hired two new agents. Margie Chill, a Boardman resident, has more than 21 years' experience selling real estate, and Bernie Sabelli, a Poland resident, has 10 years' experience.
HEALTH CARE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Humility of Mary Health Partners has appointed Donna Flauto manager of St. Elizabeth Emergency Center, and John Johntony has been named nurse manager of St. E's medical/surgical unit. Flauto, formerly an educator for St. E's emergency services, has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and a nursing diploma from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. A Struthers native, she lives in Poland. Johntony had been a nurse manager of the hospital's emergency department. He has a master's degree in nursing from Gannon University in Erie, a bachelor's degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University, and a nursing diploma from St. Francis School of Nursing in New Castle. He lives in New Castle.
BOARDMAN -- The Heart Center of Northeastern Ohio has appointed Dr. Donald Cho to its physician staff. Dr. Cho has a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University. He did his postgraduate work and earned his medical degree from Wright State University. He did his residency and fellowship at the Robert C. Byrd Health and Science Center in Morgantown, W.Va., and West Virginia University. He lives in the Youngstown area.
ACCOUNTING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cohen & amp; Co. has promoted Neal Colby to senior manager in its accounting and auditing department. Colby has a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and a master's degree in accounting from Kent State University. A Tallmadge resident, he works in the Youngstown office.
CANFIELD -- Judy Sees, a certified public accountant, has been named a principal in the Canfield-based accounting and business advisory firm of Schroedel, Scullin & amp; Bestic, LLC. Sees joined the firm in 1991 as a tax supervisor and has been tax manager for six years. A Youngstown State University graduate, she has had experience as a revenue agent for the IRS and worked in the tax department in two large companies.
TELEMARKETING
AUSTINTOWN -- Jill Avery has been named senior call center supervisor in InfoCision Management Corp.'s Austintown operation department. A Girard resident, she had been a call center supervisor since 1999. She has a bachelor's degree in communications from Youngstown State University.
RETAIL
The 84 Lumber Co. has hired three new manager trainees for its area stores. Bryan Giovanelli is a trainee in the New Castle store, Adam Bartholomew is in the Hermitage store and Derek Schorejs is in the Austintown store. Giovanelli is a graduate of Hickory High School and lives in Hermitage. Bartholomew is a West Middlesex High School graduate and lives in Mercer. Schorejs is a Westerville North High School graduate and has a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. He lives in Columbiana.
