ASSOCIATIONS
XBoardman Civic Association will hold its quarterly dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Community Center in Boardman Township Park. Ken Carano, state representative, will be guest speaker with a "State of the State" address. Cost of the buffet dinner is $9 for nonmembers and free to members. XMahoning Valley Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St. The guest speaker will be Larry Rothstein of Cleveland. COUNCILS
XYoungstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Country Kitchen, Boardman-Poland Road. A Chinese auction will be held as a benefit for St. Vincent DePaul Society.
FRATERNAL CLUBS
XSt. George Lodge 66, Croatian Fraternal Union, will meet at 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at the lodge hall, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Nominations of officers will be held. John Seeco will preside.
GRANGES
XVienna Grange will have a covered dish dinner at noon Nov. 17 at Copper Penny Lodge Hall, Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna Center.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XRodef Sholom Sisterhood will hold a brown-bag luncheon at noon Dec. 11 at Strouss Hall. Soup, dessert and coffee or tea will be served. A program of Hanukkah songs will be presented by Bill Ambert. Admission will be $5 or a gift for Sojourner House. Reservations are to be made by calling (330) 744-5001.
SOCIETIES
XThe Hammond Organ Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Raccoon Road. Plans will be discussed for the Christmas party. Host and hostesses will be Merle and Mary Shivley and Juanita Hughes. Members will entertain.
