Benefit bowl-a-thon
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown State University Pan African Student Union will sponsor a bowl-a-thon and silent auction fund-raising event from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jillian's Restaurant in Southern Park Mall. Contributions from bowling sponsors will benefit PASU and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and proceeds from the auction will go to the hospital.
Seminar at incubator
YOUNGSTOWN -- "How to do business with the State of Ohio'' will be the topic of a seminar at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Youngstown Business Incubator, 241 Federal Plaza West. The hourlong seminar, to be conducted by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, will instruct participants on how to register with the state as vendors and bid for state contracts.
