AUCTIONS
XHubbard Rotary will hold an auction at 6 p.m. Thursday at The Brentford House, Myron Street, Hubbard. Dinner and snacks will be available beginning at 5 p.m.
BAZAARS
XFirst United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, will sponsor a chicken pie supper and bazaar Saturday. The bazaar will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the supper from 4 to 7. Supper tickets cost $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. For information call (724) 983-0200.
XTod Avenue United Methodist Women, 155 Tod Ave., Warren, will hold a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee will be available from 10 a.m. to noon, and light lunches will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Reservations are required for the turkey dinner to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost for the dinner is $6.50 for adults and $2.50 for children 10 and under. CARD/BINGO PARTIES

CRAFT SHOWS
XAustintown Middle School PTA will hold its 18th annual country craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, 5800 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. Admission is free. There will be a raffle, and refreshments will be available.
XA holiday craft show and bazaar will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
XGreenville Area Leisure Services Association will hold a holiday craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenville Recreation Center, Alan Avenue, Greenville, Pa. There will also be a bake sale, door prizes and a Chinese auction.
XHarpersfield Heritage Society will hold a craft show at Harpersfield Community Center, Cork-Cold Springs Road, Harpersfield, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Baked goods and lunch will be available. Parking is free and the donation is $1.
XParkman Cub Scout Pack 76 will sponsor a fall and Christmas craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Parkman Community House, 16295 Main Market (Route 422), Parkman. Admission is free. Refreshments will be available in the dining room. Proceeds benefit Pack 76.
XWeaver Industries, a nonprofit organization providing training and employment for adults with disabilities, will hold its 27th annual Holiday Mart from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Summit County Fairgrounds, 229 E. Howe Road, Tallmadge. Admission is $3 for adults and free to children 12 and under. There is a $1 charge for parking at the fairgrounds. Proceeds will benefit the organization.
FAMILY EVENT

XFirst Covenant Church, 5210 Glenwood Ave., will hold a Lucia breakfast and festival Dec. 1. Crafts, baked goods, greenery and Swedish items will be featured. FUND-RAISERS
XAngels of Easter Seals will hold a holiday brunch and sweet shop Dec. 5 at Antone's Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Champagne punch will be served at 10:30 a.m. and the brunch will start at 11:30. Cookies and pastries made from recipes in the Easters Seals cookbook will be sold. LAS VEGAS NIGHTS
XPenn State Cosmetology, Sharon, Pa., will hold a Las Vegas Extravaganza at 7:30 p.m. today at the Radisson Inn, Route 18, West Middlesex, Pa. Cosmetology students will compete for scholarships totaling $6,150. A Las Vegas vacation will be awarded. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $20 each or five for $75. Tickets will be available at the door.
MUSEUMS
XLordstown Historical Society is looking for old toys to display at the School House Museum's open house scheduled for Nov. 24. The event will coincide with Lordstown Village's holiday lighting. XBoy Scout Troop 84 will sponsor its fourth annual rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
XGrace Lutheran Church Women's Ministries and Parents of Youth will hold a trash and treasure sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. There will be clothing, household items and baked goods. Available at the kitchen will be rigatoni and meatballs, sauerkraut and pork sandwiches, hot dogs, pie and beverages.

TRIPS
XA one-day Christmas tour is being planned for either Dec. 4 or 5 to Ligonier, Pa., by Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church. There will be a candlelight tour of the 1880s Compass Inn and a meal at the 77-year-old Mountain View Inn. Participants will be able to visit the downtown area with Christmas tree displays and shops.
