MIDDLEFIELD -- The Middlefield Historical Society will sponsor a Holiday Home Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for a $10 donation on tour days at the society's home in the Century Inn at 14979 S. State Ave., Middlefield. Call for information at (440) 632-0400. The Inn was built in 1818 and is the oldest structure in Middlefield.
Holiday decorations will abound in several homes within the village and two townships. The tour, which varies architecturally, includes an Amish homestead converted to "English," a cozy condo; a ranch style; and a contemporary Victorian cottage.
Seven Amish schools will have a bake sale, and crafters will sell their wares in the Underloft of the Century Inn.
