GARDEN CLUBS



MONDAY
Members of Garden Gate will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a program on denim shirt stamping. Hostess will be JoAnn Vlacancich, and co-hostess will be Geri Tarka.
XCarol Jay and Bobbi Stubler will serve as co-hostesses for the 7 p.m. meeting of Transplants at The Dryin' Barn in Petersburg. Instructor will be Ida Krcelic, and the project will be a 20-inch lighted floral tree. Cost is $29. Maureen Binning will be in charge of the raffle.
Woodland will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
TUESDAY
The 10 a.m. meeting of Daphne will feature a program on the American Cancer Society. Shirley Gartner will be hostess, and co-hostesses will be Helen Elser and Jane Lutz.
THURSDAY
Flower Wagon members will meet at the home of Mary Alice Fedor to make a candlelight snowman. Co-hostess will be Mary Blinsky.
UPCOMING
The Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown will present its holiday flower show and general meeting Nov. 14 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center, Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Entry time for the flower show is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon, and the program will follow at 1 p.m. Brenda Finch, designer and gift shop manager for Wheeling Civic Garden Center, will speak, and assisting will be Cindy Shank.
