YOUNGSTOWN CIC Actions taken

The Youngstown Central Area Community Improvement Corp. took the these actions at its meeting Wednesday:
Urged Youngstown City Council to support a $3.4 million renovation project to the city hall annex. The 7th District Court of Appeals is interested in moving from the Mahoning County Courthouse to the annex.
Gave preliminary approval to P & amp;L Paris Corp. of Boardman on a proposal to relocate its corporate offices to the former First Federal Bank building on West Federal Street. The CIC gave P & amp;L 60 days to come up with a financing and construction plan.
Heard from Alden Chevlen, CIC executive director, that he will select a company next week to handle repair work at CIC-owned buildings.
