Miss Courtney, Michael Salapata to wed Sept. 15

Heather Lynn Courtney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Courtney, all of 322 E. Kline St., Girard, and Michael John Salapata, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Salapata, all of 407 Peffer St., Niles, are engaged.
Miss Courtney is attending Youngstown State University. She is employed by Gander Mountain, Niles.
The future groom is employed by the waste water treatment plant in the city of Niles.
The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at St. Stephen Church in Niles. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Willow Creek in Girard.
