YOUNGSTOWN -- Two female Rural Metro Ambulance medics were shot at six to eight times while they were on duty in the Mahoning Plaza parking lot at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road around 2:10 p.m. Monday, police said.
Gunmen rob McDonald's
YOUNGSTOWN -- Three men with semi-automatic handguns robbed a McDonald's safe at 840 E. Midlothian Ave. of an undisclosed amount of money Monday night.
Police said three tall men wearing black ski masks and gloves ripped phones from the restaurant's wall and ordered witnesses to the floor.
Police said one of the suspects who knew the location of a safe may be a former employee. A security tape documenting the robbery was taken by police.
