YOUNGSTOWN -- Victoria Lynn DeCola, 27645 Caroline Circle, Westlake, and John William Thompson, 26603 Chapel Hill Drive, North Olmsted, were married at 1:30 p.m. April 21 at St. Dominic Church. The Rev. Brian Mulcahy officiated.
A reception at Mr. Anthony's, Boardman, honored the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank DeCola, 1823 Halbert Drive, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Thompson of the North Olmsted address. After a wedding trip to Kuai, Hawaii, the couple live in Westlake.
The bride is a regional product manager for TAP Pharmaceuticals in Cleveland. She earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition-dietetics at Youngstown State University. The groom graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in economics and from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a master's in business administration. He is a relationship manager at National City Bank in Cleveland, and a finance instructor at Cleveland State University.
The bride's white silk gown was styled with a halter top with silver beading, a fitted bodice and wraparound train.
Beth Ehrman was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Jean Schidell, Patty DeCola, Sharon Francisco, Lora Hull, Marie Fryda and Julie Dailey. They wore periwinkle gowns. Flower girls were Molly and Meghan Dailey.
Brian Graziano was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Thompson, Dave Kross, Brian Kuhn, Paul Schwartz, Ron DeCola, Frank DeCola and Michael Schidell. Jacob Ehrman was ring bearer.
