TARANNUM MUSVEEBABUR LATEEF
OAKBROOK, Ill. -- Dr. Tarannum Musvee, Bartlett, Ill., and Dr. Babur Lateef, Boardman, were united in marriage by Mohammad Amin at 6:30 p.m. May 13 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, where a reception also took place. An Islamic ceremony, a Valeema, took place May 19 at The Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Sophia Igbal Musvee of Madras, India, and the late Igbal Musvee. The groom's parents are Dr. Bari and Kauser Lateef of Boardman.
Mrs. Lateef graduated from the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. She is a pediatrics resident at University Hospital, Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Lateef graduated from Youngstown State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He is completing a fellowship in refractive surgery at the University of Cincinnati and will practice ophthalmology in northeast Ohio.
They live in Cleveland.
The bride wore a traditional Indian dress in maroon and gold brocade.
Honor attendant was Zenobia Tayba. Bridesmaids were Cauvery Naresh, Stella Ramanath, Binu Abraham, Tina Abdullah, Jennifer Miles-Thomas, Michele Loor, Nasim Ahmadiyeh, Lavanya Sithanandam and Mona Knock. They wore saris of various colors. Flower girl was Ayesha Mohammed.
Best man and ring bearer was Dr. Omar Bari Lateef. Groomsmen were Dr. Ray Bernat, Jason Eplawy, Joe Lucente, Dr. John Uvena, Dr. Mazhar Bari, Asnar Bari, Dr. Sajad Khan, Dr. Saleem Ahmed and Dr. Imran Qureshi.
