Renzenbrink jubilee celebrated with dinner, cruise
POLAND -- A dinner May 26 at the Holiday Inn South, Boardman, was held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Renzenbrink, 2339 Edgewater Drive, for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. They also will take a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands.
The former Dolores Longstreet and Mr. Renzenbrink exchanged marriage vows May 26, 1951, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown.
Mrs. Renzenbrink was a telephone operator at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, Youngstown, and retired in 1995. She also was a telephone operator at The Vindicator.
A precision grinder at Metal Carbides Corp., Boardman, Mr. Renzenbrink retired in 1986. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 408th Ordnance Company in Panama.
They are members of Bethel Friends Church, where he is an elder.
The couple have two daughters, Debra Rolland of Austintown and Diane Gavolas of Poland, and three grandchildren.
