AUSTINTOWN --Kristen Lee Starr, a daughter of John and Lorrie Starr, 244 Westminster Ave., and Thomas Michael Connelly, 554 S. Raccoon Road, a son of Cindy Connelly, 3887 Cannon Road, and William Connelly, were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony May 19 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
The Rev. Stephen Popovich officiated, and a reception followed at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, Youngstown.
After a cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple live at the groom's address.
The bride's white matte satin A-line gown featured an empire waist, beaded bodice and a chapel train.
Wearing lilac gowns were Catherine Starr, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Molnar, Melissa Wyant, Lora Welch and Jackie Walker, the groom's cousin. Junior bridesmaids were Julie Starr, the bride's sister, and Lori Connelly, the groom's sister. Flower girl was his cousin, Taylor Walker.
Serving as best man was James Kamrad, and groomsmen were Damon Tul; Jeff Starr, the bride's brother; Chris Kramer; and Rick Booth, the groom's cousin.
The bride, a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
The groom is an auto technician with West Side Tire Co., Youngstown.
