Golfers will scramble for fun and prizes



Proceeds from the 18-hole event will support cardiovascular research.
CANFIELD -- Area golfers are invited to participate in the third annual Golf Classic Scramble to be held June 18 at Tippecanoe Country Club as a benefit for the Mahoning/Northern Columbiana and Trumbull division of the American Heart Association
The 18-hole event will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Fees for the scramble are $150 each player and $600 for a four-person team, and includes a cart, lunch at 11:30 a.m., refreshments on course, an hors d'oeuvres reception and an awards dinner.
Players will have an opportunity to win two hole-in-one prizes, $20,000 cash, or a new car. Numerous team and individual prizes will also be awarded at a reception after the outing.
