GOLF OUTING Play for symphony guild's fund-raiser



The June 25 event at Squaw Creek will feature prizes.
VIENNA -- Youngstown Symphony Guild will sponsor its fifth annual "Come Play Fore the Symphony" golf outing and raffle June 25 at Squaw Creek Country Club.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Play will continue throughout the day.
The entry fee of $150 includes range, lockers, cart, golf, lunch, cocktails, dinner and contests.
A variety of prizes will be awarded, including a grand-prize golf package in Scottsdale, Ariz., a second prize of a golf outing at a resort and a third prize of loge tickets for a Scrappers game at Cafaro Field.
Four hole-in-one prizes will be offered and include a two-year auto lease on a front par 3 and a car give-away on a back par 3. The remaining par 3's will offer Hawaiian trips for a hole-in-one.
Making plans: Co-chairmen are Gary and Beth Roberts. Suzyn Schwebel Epstein is president of the symphony guild.
Serving on the committee are Pam Hirko, treasurer; Laura Uram, secretary; Juanita Williams, hole sponsors; Liz McGarry and Debbie Liptak, publicity; Irene Loser, tournament; Naomi Fine, social; Susan Huber, decorations; Shari Carlozzi and Stephanie Hunter, raffle; Sally Gunn, printing and signs; and Jeanne Simeone and Mary Kay Zockle, volunteers.
Proceeds will benefit the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and Edward W. Powers Auditorium.
