Anniversary celebration for Allios to feature family dinner party
SALEM -- Timberlanes will be the setting June 3 for a family dinner party to be held in celebration of the 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Allio, 251 W. Seventh St.
Hosts for the event will be the couple's daughter and son-in-law, Cristina and Harry Garlough of Columbiana, and Mrs. Allio's mother, Stella Pelliccioni of Salem.
The former Judi Pelliccioni and Mr. Allio were married June 4, 1966, at Real Life Assembly.
Mr. Allio, who served four years with the U.S. Navy, is supervisor of electronics and electrical maintenance for Metal and Wire Products Co. at Salem Industrial Park. He was chief engineer at WSOM and WQXK radio stations for 22 years, was broadcast engineer for Mortenson Broadcasting Co., Lexington, Ky., and was chief engineer at WHLO radio in Akron.
Mrs. Allio is the reference technical assistant at Salem Public Library and is clerk of council for the city of Salem. She was an executive secretary at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. at Southwoods in Boardman and was a legal secretary for Guehl Law Office and the law firm of Williams and Apple. For 15 years she has served as secretary to the board of trustees at Salem Community Theatre, where she has produced 18 productions.
The couple will complete their anniversary celebration during a vacation in June at Mackinac Island.
